Salmon belongs to the family of noble fish, distinguished by its exquisite taste. When cooking salmon, it is very important not to spoil it at the same time. The simpler the dish, the tastier the fish will remain. And what could be easier than the most ordinary baking.

It is necessary

    • 4 salmon steaks
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tbsp spices for fish
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice
    • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Step 1

Salmon is sold in stores in the form of steaks or whole carcasses. If you bought a whole fish, remove the entrails and head from it, cut the carcass into transverse steaks 1, 5-2 centimeters wide. Steaks made from very large fish can also be halved.

Step 2

Prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, lemon juice, salt and spices in a separate bowl.

Step 3

If there is not enough fish, just dip it in the marinade, otherwise brush each piece with the mixture with a brush and stack them on top of each other. It costs at least half an hour to marinate salmon, but you can keep it in the refrigerator even for a day.

Step 4

It is best to bake fish at home in the oven, but if you go out into the countryside, then steaks baked on charcoal will be much tastier than homemade ones. For baking in the oven, put the fish on the wire rack, place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes, after which the steaks can be served.

Step 5

In natural conditions, salmon can also be baked on a wire rack, or you can wrap each steak in foil and put it in the smoldering coals of a fire. But do not overexpose the fish, 10-15 minutes will be enough for it to reach readiness.

Step 6

Baked fish is good on its own, but a glass of white wine or a glass of cold vodka will be the best addition to this simple but noble dish.
