Golden, delicate on the outside and soft with a cheesy flavor on the inside, these sticks are perfect as a mouth-watering tasty snack. They are filled with a mixture of potatoes, cream, bacon and parmesan cheese. Such cheese sticks are fried very quickly - only 2 minutes and it is a pleasure to cook them.
It is necessary
- 3 large potatoes;
- 2 tbsp butter;
- 1 onion;
- 100 g bacon;
- 1 tsp rosemary;
- a quarter cup of cream;
- 115 g Parmesan cheese;
- 1 cup flour
- 2 beaten eggs;
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- salt pepper;
- frying oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the small diced potatoes in a saucepan and cook in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Then drain the water and let cool. Then you should mash the potatoes with a fork.
Step 2
Melt a tablespoon of butter in a small skillet and sauté the finely chopped onion until translucent. Add bacon and fry until crispy and golden brown. Season to taste with salt and pepper and then remove from heat.
Step 3
Add the onion and bacon mixture to a bowl of mashed potatoes. Add rosemary, tablespoon butter, cream, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Add grated cheese and stir until smooth.

Form the mixture into round or oval shaped items.

Place flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs in separate bowls. Dip each product first in flour, dip in a beaten egg and then in bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a deep saucepan. Then fry, while turning until golden brown for 2 minutes. Then place them on a baking sheet covered with a paper towel to absorb the remaining oil and sprinkle with salt.
Step 8
Serve with jam, aioli or tomato sauce.
