Step 1

Melt the butter, combine with kefir and salt, mix. Add flour, knead not tough dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands.

Divide the dough into two, they must not be equal. Roll out most of it.

Step 3

Grease a baking sheet with oil or use baking paper. Put the rolled cake on a sheet.

Step 4

Rinse the potatoes, peel and cut into thin strips. Cook the onion in half rings. Gather potatoes, onions, spices in one bowl, mix.

Place the filling on the surface of the first cake in an even layer. Top with vegetable oil, 3-4 tablespoons are enough.

Roll out the second part of the dough, cover the filling with it. Pinch the pie along the edge so that you get the sides. Make some punctures on the top of the potato pie to release steam.

Heat the oven to 200 ° С, set the pie sheet. Bake until tender, you should get a beautiful, golden brown crust. Baking time can take 45-60 minutes.

Brush the finished potato pie with vegetable oil and leave to rest for 15 minutes. You can then cut into portions.
