- - 500 ml of milk,
- - 200 ml of water,
- - a pinch of salt,

Step 1
Pour oatmeal into boiling water, immediately remove the saucepan from the heat, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes to swell the flakes. Then put on fire and boil the water until the oatmeal is completely thickened.
Step 2
Continuing to stir, pour in the hot milk in two portions and boil again until thickened. You can salt the porridge and add sugar. Oatmeal is cooked for a short time - about 20-25 minutes. It should be thick and dense, but at the same time soft and viscous.

Season the prepared porridge with butter. Before serving, you can put fresh or frozen berries in oatmeal - Victoria, strawberries, currants, raspberries, lingonberries, blackberries. Good oatmeal with pieces of fruit - peaches, bananas, apricots, grapes, apples, tangerines, etc. And, of course, those with a sweet tooth will love it if the oatmeal is seasoned with honey or jam.
