It is necessary

  • - mineral water (with gas) - 400 ml;
  • - milk - 400 ml;
  • - flour - 3 cups (about 400 g);
  • - large chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • - butter - 50 g for dough and 50 g for lubrication (optional);
  • - granulated sugar - 2 tbsp. l. without a slide;
  • - salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • - vegetable oil - 1 tsp;
  • - frying pan.

Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare a deep bowl or saucepan to help stir the dough. Break an egg into it, beat it lightly with a fork and pour in the milk.

Step 2

Melt the butter until liquid in a water bath or microwave. Add it to the egg and milk mixture along with salt and sugar. Mix everything together well with a spoon, whisk or mixer at low speed.

Step 3

Then pour in mineral water and stir by hand. After that, add flour in parts, stirring all the time, and watch the consistency. The thickness of the finished products will depend on the amount of flour. Therefore, if you want to get thinner pancakes, the dough should be no thicker than purchased kefir.

Step 4

When the dough is ready, leave it for 30 minutes at room temperature to brew a little. Then it will become more uniform, it will be easier to distribute it over the surface of the pan, and the pancakes will turn over well.

Step 5

After the time has passed, take a frying pan (preferably a cast-iron frying pan or a special one for pancakes). Heat it well. You need to heat for at least 4-5 minutes. For the first pancake, pour in a little vegetable oil or rub the bottom with a piece of fat tail or bacon.

Step 6

Stir the dough, fill it 3/4 of a ladle and pour it into the middle of the pan so that it is evenly distributed over the entire surface. When about 30 seconds have passed, check the pancake. If the bottom has become rosy, it will need to be turned over in any convenient way - with two hands or by prying it with a spatula. Bake the other side of the pancake until the same brown color appears, then transfer to a plate. At the same time, if desired, the finished product can be greased with melted butter using a culinary brush.

Step 7

Bake the rest of the dough pancakes in the same way. Stir the dough lightly before scooping up the ladle. Put ready-made pancakes on mineral water in a pile and serve along with condensed milk, jam, cottage cheese and so on.
