The Italian dairy product ricotta allows you to prepare delicious dishes, including sweet pastries, for example, the most delicate airy raisin pie.
It is necessary
- Ingredients for a mold with a diameter of 20 cm:
- - 100 gr. raisins (pitted);
- - 50 ml of red semi-sweet wine;
- - 140 gr. butter;
- - 250 gr. ricotta;
- - 180 gr. Sahara;
- - 3 eggs (as large as possible);
- - 175 gr. flour;
- - 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
- - icing sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
All ingredients for the cake should be at room temperature. Heat the wine in a saucepan and pour pure raisins into it. After boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum, cook the raisins for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180C. Sprinkle the round shape with flour.
Step 3
Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat a very elastic foam from the proteins.
Step 4
In a mixer, beat the butter and sugar, add the ricotta pieces and yolks (one by one, beating the mass each time). Pour wine with raisins into a bowl, mix with a spatula until smooth.
Step 5
Stir in the whipped egg whites, pour the flour with baking powder. Knead a homogeneous dough and put it in a mold.
Step 6
We bake the pie for 45 minutes, let it cool, and use powdered sugar for decoration.
