Very elegant and delicate pudding! You will never think that this miracle is being prepared … from the crumb of an ordinary loaf!
It is necessary
- For 8 servings:
- - 8 eggs;
- - 130 ml of milk;
- - 450 g of sugar with vanilla flavor;
- - 8 tbsp. favorite jam;
- - 230 g of white bread.
Instructions
Step 1
The oven should be preheated to 150 degrees. In the meantime, we divide 6 eggs into whites and yolks, put the first ones in the refrigerator (this way it will be easier for us to beat them).
Step 2
Mix the yolks in a bowl with whole eggs. Beat until smooth. Crumble the bread and add to the yolks and eggs. We also send milk and 170 g of vanilla sugar there (sugar that was stored with a vanilla pod, or just sugar and vanillin). Mix everything until relatively homogeneous.
Step 3
Place the jam on the bottom of a large baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula. Pour the milk mixture over it. Bake for 60 minutes.
Step 4
We take the proteins out of the refrigerator and beat them until they are firm peaks, gradually adding sugar. Put the resulting meringue on top of the pudding and return to the oven, preferably on the upper level, until it becomes blush (10-15 minutes).
