  • - 500 g of mussels in shell or 300 g of peeled mussels
  • - 200 g lentils
  • - ½ onions
  • - 50 g green onions
  • - 50 g parsley
  • - 1 tomato
  • - 1 clove of garlic
  • - salt, curry, ground coriander

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse lentils in cold water. This is best done with a colander. Remove the skin from the tomato and cut it into cubes. To easily peel off the peel, place the tomato in boiling water for 2 minutes, and then in cold water. Chop parsley, green onions, garlic and onions finely.

Step 2

Heat a frying pan over a fire, add a little vegetable oil and fry the onion. As soon as it starts to brown, add the tomato. Simmer for no more than 2 minutes, then add herbs, garlic, salt and spices. Stir all ingredients and remove from heat.

Place lentils in a saucepan, pour in 1 cup of salted water. Make sure to boil over low heat. Cooking time after boiling water is 8 minutes. The pot must be covered with a lid.

Step 5

Transfer the previously cooked tomatoes, onions and herbs to a pot of lentils. Stir. As soon as it starts to simmer, add the peeled mussels. Cook for another 3 minutes.
