Of the many dishes that can be prepared from potatoes, country-style potatoes are considered one of the most delicious. Indeed, this is an unusually tasty and satisfying dish, the secret of which is in the spices. It is easy to prepare and does not require much attention.

- Young potatoes (with light skin) of approximately the same size - 1 kg
- Spices: turmeric
- red hot pepper
- cumin (zira) pounded in a mortar
- ground caryander
- curry - a little bit of everything
- Dry herbs: marjoram
- rosemary
- dill - half a teaspoon each
- Dry garlic
- Vegetable oil
- better olive for frying
- Fresh greens
- Garlic 2-3 cloves
- Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Put all seasonings and dry herbs in a bowl, add half a teaspoon of salt to them and mix well.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes well in running water, you can use a sponge for washing dishes. Pat dry with a paper towel and cut each one along the long axis into four wedges.
Step 3
Place the potatoes in a bowl, sprinkle with oil and spices. Stir well with your hands so that each wedge is oiled and sprinkled with spices on all sides.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 200C. Put the potatoes in one layer on a baking sheet with the skin facing down and place in the oven. After 10-15 minutes, take out the baking sheet and turn the slices so that they are fried evenly on all sides, again put it in the oven for 10 minutes. Cooking time will depend a lot on the size of the potatoes and the technical characteristics of your oven, so adjust for yourself.
Step 5
Remove the potatoes, place them on a platter, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and garlic, and serve with barbecue sauce or any other favorite sauce.
