  • breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons;
  • veal or lamb mince - 1 kg;
  • ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp;
  • potatoes - 4 pcs;
  • ground cloves - 0.3 tsp;
  • large eggplant - 1 pc;
  • parsley;
  • oregano greens;
  • tomato puree - 500 g;
  • olive oil;
  • onions - 1 pc;
  • parmesan cheese 200 g;
  • red wine - 0.5 cups;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • béchamel sauce;
  • ground black pepper and salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the eggplant and cut into longitudinal thin slices. Sprinkle generously with salt, place in a colander and leave as it is for a while.

Step 2

Heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil and add chopped garlic and onions. Add the minced meat when the onion looks translucent. Fry the mixture until the meat is slightly darkened.

Step 3

Add wine, tomato, chicken, salt, cloves, 1 tbsp. chopped oregano, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix the ingredients well. Cook the dish over low heat for 30 minutes. At the end, the meat sauce should thicken.

Step 4

Squeeze out the excess liquid from the eggplant, then pat dry with paper towels. Fry the potato and blue slices in olive oil until golden brown. Alternatively, you can use the grill or oven instead.

Step 5

Grease the pan with oil and fill with a layer of potatoes, lay some of the eggplant slices on top. Distribute the meat sauce evenly over the vegetables, add the remaining pieces of "blue". Sprinkle everything with some grated cheese. Pour the béchamel over the entire dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.

Step 6

Preheat oven to 160oC, place the moussaka dish in there and bake for 60 minutes. Remove the dish and let cool for 20 minutes. Cut it into squares and serve as a separate dish.
