Chebureki is a great dish that you can have a good snack with. Many people do not like them because they are deep-fried, that is, in a large amount of oil. I offer you this version of pasties, in which the amount of oil is minimized. In addition, pasties baked according to this recipe are also very useful, as they are made from pumpkin dough.

It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • - pumpkin pulp - 300-400 g;
  • - wheat flour - 150 g;
  • - whole grain flour - 50 g;
  • - eggs - 1 pc.;
  • - milk - 250 ml;
  • - vegetable oil - 5 tablespoons;
  • - pickled mushrooms - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • - salt;
  • - ground black pepper.
  • For filling:
  • - chicken fillet - 450 g;
  • - onion - 1 pc.;
  • - pickled mushrooms - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - ketchup - 3 tablespoons;
  • - salt - to taste;
  • - spices - to taste;
  • - cheese - 100 g.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, rinse the meat, then cut it into small pieces and grind it with a blender or meat grinder until minced.

Step 2

After peeling the onion, chop it finely with a knife and fry in sunflower oil until transparent. Then add minced chicken to the vegetable along with ketchup, spices and salt. Add pickled mushrooms there. If not, you can use pickles. Mix the resulting mass as it should, then simmer it until the meat is fully cooked. The filling for pumpkin pasties is ready.

Step 3

In a beaten egg, add pumpkin pulp, chopped on a small grater. Then add the following ingredients there: sunflower oil, milk, salt, granulated sugar and black pepper. Mix the resulting mixture with wheat and whole grain flour and finely chopped pickled mushrooms. Mixing everything properly, you get the dough. Its consistency should be similar to that of a pancake dough.

Step 4

Using a ladle, pour the dough into the pan with little or no oil. Put two tablespoons of the filling on one side of such a pancake and sprinkle it with grated cheese. Covering this mass with a free edge, gently press down with a spatula. Thus, you get a cheburek. Fry it on each side for one minute. Make the rest of the pasties in the same way.

Step 5

Serve the finished dish hot. Pumpkin pasties with chicken and mushrooms are ready!
