Coleslow is a versatile American salad based on shredded cabbage. Typically, this salad is served as a side dish to various dishes. Dress this salad with yoghurt dressing.
It is necessary
- For eight servings:
- - 1 head of red cabbage;
- - 1 head of white cabbage;
- - 100 g of raisins;
- - 300 ml of yogurt;
- - 2 carrots;
- - 1 green apple;
- - 1 bunch of dill;
- - 70 g sunflower seeds;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, olive oil;
- - pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop both smaller cabbage heads. Knead the resulting thin strips on the board, leave for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Rub the peeled carrots on a large grater. Peel the apple, remove the core, cut into strips. Take seedless raisins, black or white - it's up to you.
Step 3
Chop the dill, mix with low-fat yogurt, apple cider vinegar, olive oil. Pepper, salt.
Step 4
Fry sunflower seeds a little in a dry skillet.
Step 5
Mix cabbage with apple, carrot, raisins. Place the salad on a large platter and season with yoghurt sauce. Sprinkle with seeds on top.
