Zucchini can be used to prepare a wide variety of dishes. One of the simplest and most delicious is the minced meat casserole. And if you have never tried such a dish, then you should take a closer look at it. Zucchini flesh soaked in garlic aroma and tender minced meat under an appetizing cheese crust will surely delight your loved ones.

It is necessary

  • - zucchini - 2 pcs.;
  • - minced pork and beef - 500 g;
  • - small onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - ripe medium-sized tomatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - garlic - 4 large cloves;
  • - sour cream with a fat content of 15% - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • - hard cheese - 120 g;
  • - dill and / or parsley, cilantro - 1 bunch;
  • - sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • - ground black pepper, salt;
  • - frying pan, baking dish.

Instructions

Step 1

First, let's prepare the vegetables: remove the husk from the onion and garlic, cut the peel from the carrots, cut the stalk off the zucchini. After that, cut the onion into thin quarter-rings, crush the garlic through a press, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Take a skillet and heat it up well. Then pour in the sunflower oil and, when it is hot, put the onion and sauté until golden brown. Next, send the grated carrots to the pan and fry with the onions for 3-4 minutes. Finally, add half the minced garlic and stir fry for another minute. When the vegetables are done, remove the pan from the stove.

Step 3

Put the minced meat in a deep plate and stir in the onion and carrot fry. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. It is also allowed to put the minced meat in a pan and fry it a little along with the vegetables.

Step 4

Now take a baking dish and brush with sunflower oil. Distribute the minced meat evenly in it, lightly tamping it. Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees.

Step 5

While the oven is preheating, cut the courgettes into circles 3-4 mm thick. And the tomatoes are in the shape of a semicircle. Now put the tomatoes and zucchini on the minced meat one by one, add salt on top. And then send the blank to the oven for 25 minutes.

While the casserole is cooking, mix the remaining crushed garlic into the sour cream. Chop dill greens (parsley, cilantro). Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 7

When 25 minutes of roasting is over, remove the baking dish from the oven. Brush the top of the casserole with garlic and sour cream sauce, sprinkle with herbs and grated cheese. Then put the food in the oven for another 20 minutes.

After the time has passed, let the casserole stand for a few minutes to allow the melted cheese to "set". And then cut it into portions and serve. Such a summer, tender, aromatic dish can be an excellent option for a family dinner.
