Pork is one of the easiest meats to prepare. The sweetish taste of this meat goes well with fruits, nuts, honey, prunes, as well as mustard and cheese sauces. Many pork dishes are quick and easy to prepare. One of these dishes is Bavarian pork ribs.
It is necessary
-
- 1.5 kg pork ribs
- Bay leaf
- ground black pepper
- black peppercorns
- 80 g honey
- 120 g mustard
Instructions
Step 1
Cooking Bavarian pork ribs is very simple. This dish will require a minimum of time and effort. Perfect for a home dinner or for treating unexpected guests.
Step 2
Wash the pork ribs under warm water. Cut so that each portion is meat and bone.
Step 3
Place the pork ribs in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Season with salt, add bay leaf and black peppercorns. Cook over high heat until tender (about an hour and a half). If the ribs are slightly undercooked, it's not scary, because then another heat treatment will follow.
Step 4
After the ribs are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate. This will dry out a little.
Step 5
While the ribs are dry, we prepare the "coating". In a deep bowl, mix honey and mustard, add ground black pepper. Determine the amount of pepper to your taste - if you like well-seasoned meat - add more, if you don't like pepper - you can not add at all. Add one tablespoon of sesame seeds if desired.
Step 6
Lubricate the ribs evenly with the finished coating. Place on a baking sheet, lightly oiled with vegetable oil. Place in a well preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. The dish is ready!
Step 7
To garnish potatoes baked in the oven.
Step 8
Peel the potatoes, cut into large enough pieces.
Step 9
Place on a baking sheet with melted butter and sprinkle with salt on top. Cook in a well-preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
Step 10
During the cooking process, stir the potatoes a couple of times with a wooden spatula. So it will be fried from all sides.
