Even plain white bread can make a delicious breakfast pudding when paired with apples and bananas. In addition to these ingredients, spices are added to the pudding - cinnamon and vanillin.
It is necessary
- - 300 ml of milk;
- - 200 g of white bread;
- - 100 g of dark chocolate;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 1 apple, 1 banana;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of brown sugar;
- - 1 teaspoon of vanillin, ground cinnamon.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the bread into cubes. A French loaf works well for pudding. Peel the banana, cut it into thin slices. Peel the apple, remove the core, cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Spread half the bread cubes over the bottom of the baking dish. Place the apple and banana slices on top. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, half sugar, half chopped chocolate. Spread the remaining chocolate and bread on top.
Step 3
Whisk milk, eggs, vanillin, remaining sugar with a blender. Gently pour this mixture on top of the bread pudding, let it brew for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Place the dish on a baking sheet and fill it with hot water. Put this structure in the oven for 1, 5 hours, bake at 160 degrees - no higher!
Step 5
After this time, remove the apple-banana bread pudding from the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes. Serve directly in the pan, or place the pudding on a platter and cut into portions. It's a versatile healthy breakfast option. In addition to bananas and apples, you can add other fruits as you like.
